It practically goes without saying that medi has product and system certificates proving it meets all the legal requirements.
However, our standards go far beyond this. As a manufacturer of medical products, we have set up our own quality-management system, which is certified in accordance with ISO 13485. ISO 13485, “Medical products: Quality-management systems – Requirements for regulatory purposes”, governs the requirements manufacturers and providers of medical products must meet in terms of developing, implementing and maintaining management systems for the medical product industry. In 1997, medi volunteered to undergo auditing for the ÖKO-Tex Standard 100. Certificates from this audit guarantee that our products are made of materials that are gentle on human skin and tested for toxic substances.
